We are a grain storage and silo consulting firm built around one idea: facilities run better when the people advising them aren't the same people selling them equipment.

Our work sits at the intersection of engineering, operations, and asset management — the same model used by established international silo engineering consultancies. We're independent by design, which means our recommendations are shaped by what actually works in the field, not by what's on a catalog page.
Meet the Founder
Dr. Imran Hassan

Early in his career, Imran stood inside a massive grain storage facility and watched tons of maize being loaded out — not to a mill or a market, but to be dumped. Moisture had slipped into the unlevelled core and turned good grain into a hotspot for mould and pests. That scene reframed his profession: grain storage isn't about managing giant steel cylinders. It's a country's first line of defense against food insecurity.
Twenty-five years and more than twenty countries later, that conviction runs through everything Silowala does. Trained as an animal nutritionist at the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, Imran built his career inside Pakistan's largest feed operations — including the Sharif Group and Chakwal Feeds — where he learned a truth most consultants discover too late: quality feed isn't made on the production floor. It's preserved, or lost, in the silo.
In 2020 he served on the team behind USAID's feasibility study on private silo warehousing for Pakistan's grains — field research spanning rice paddy, maize, and wheat. Since then he has helped deliver nearly 140,000 MT of grain storage capacity across Punjab, and today travels across Eurasia exchanging silo engineering knowledge, writing on food security, and advocating for electronic warehouse receipts and green preservation technologies like grain chilling.
